Maybe I'm just sleep deprived, but I found this to be pretty stupidly clever.

I was on a 7 hour redeye flight last night so that might explain my ease of amusement but this had me cracking up! I died when the Vespa guy started to look over to check

Also, it's amazing how good-natured people were about it. Nice to see.

I mean... I have never once put my key in my door since 2002. That's 3 cars with remotes. It seemed like half these people had modem cars and should have known what was up.

Same sort of thing as "You dropped your pocket." People don't think before they react.

Next on "Things I shout at passing cars" we'll have "Hey, You left your fuel door open" to Tesla and LEAF owners.

I like saying "ooh, red light" to drivers sitting at lights (when I'm a passenger).
Note: This only works if you are the first car in line, and there is no cross traffic because there is a chance they will actually go through the light. They usually start and slam on the brakes when they realize the light is still red.

Sometimes the charge door on my wife's Volt will open spontaneously. A warning shows up on the dash when that happens.

I have to wonder how many of these people have remotes and don't even use the key to unlock the car
